Passando lungo il mare della Galilea,

vide Simone ed Andrea, fratello di Simone, mentre gettavano le reti in mare;

erano infatti pescatori.

GESU' disse loro:

<< Seguitemi, vi farò diventare

pescatori di uomini >> .

E subito, lasciate le reti, lo seguirono.

Andando un poco oltre, vide sulla barca anche

Giacomo di Zebedeo e Giovanni suo fratello mentre riassettavano le reti.

Li chiamò. Ed essi, lasciato il loro

padre Zebedeo sulla barca con i garzoni,

lo seguirono.

16 Et praeteriens secus mare Galilaeae

vidit Simonem et Andream fratrem Simonis mittentes in mare;

erant enim piscatores.
17 Et dixit eis Iesus:

" Venite post me, et faciam vos fieri

piscatores hominum ".
18 Et protinus, relictis retibus, secuti sunt eum.
19 Et progressus pusillum vidit

Iacobum Zebedaei et Ioannem fratrem eius, et ipsos in navi componentes retia,
20 et statim vocavit illos. Et, relicto

patre suo Zebedaeo in navi cum mercennariis, abierunt post eum.

Li chiamò. Ed essi, lasciato il loropadre Zebedeo sulla barca con i garzoni, lo seguirono.

16 9 As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen.

17 Jesus said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men."

18 Then they abandoned their nets and followed him.

19 He walked along a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They too were in a boat mending their nets.

20 Then he called them. So they left their father Zebedee in the boat along with the hired men and followed him.

16 Y pasando junto al mar de Galilea,

vio a Simón y a Andrés hermano de Simón, echando la red en el mar;

porque eran pescadores.

17 Jesús les dijo:

"Venid en pos de Mí, y os haré

pescadores de hombres."

18 De inmediato dejaron sus redes y le siguieron.

19 Al ir un poco Más adelante, vio a Jacobo hijo de Zebedeo y a su hermano Juan. Ellos estaban en su barca arreglando las redes.

20 En seguida les Llamó; y ellos, dejando a su padre Zebedeo en la barca junto con los jornaleros, se fueron en pos de él.
